  1. It is a scheme that allows you to make donations to any of our listed NGOs, direct from your salary. The cause/NGO of your choice receives your donation tax free.The program is totally tax efficient and the donation includes the tax that would have been deducted from your pay, so instead of the tax going to the government it will go to the selected charity.

  2. You should give through Payroll Giving because , it is easy, gives tax benefits and gives your chosen cause and NGO the security of regular funding.

  3. We have identified the following NGOs basis your feedback on the causes you want to support. The same are: National Association for the Blind (NAB), Make-A-Wish Foundation of India (MAW), Cancer Patients Aid Association (CPAA), The Akanksha Foundation and Dignity Foundation. Besides these, you and your colleagues have the option of nominating your favourite NGO that can be made part of the program after a screening process.

  5. Payroll Giving is a voluntary donation and you can start/stop at the time of your choice. Write to csr@kotak.com with the relevant details (name, function and form number) and we will take care of the rest.

  6. No, once your contribution has been deducted from your income it MUST go to the NGO you have selected. It is important that when you complete your form you clearly indicate the NGOs you want to support to make it easy for us to distribute your donation.

  8. If you want to check that your contribution has been received, you can ask us for a confirmation and we will work on getting the same.

  9. Yes, you can change the NGO of your choice . Get in touch with your HR coordinator for the same. But remember – NGOs benefit most from regular donations, so try not to change your choice of NGOs too often.

  12. It is calculated as 1% of your CTC and is deducted over 12 months in equal installments.
